Stratum Protocol Guide

FenixPool uses Stratum V1 with full support for AsicBoost (version-rolling). All connection URLs use the stratum+tcp:// prefix.

SUPPORTEDStratum V1

The standard mining protocol used by all ASIC, GPU, and CPU miners. Works out of the box with every mining device and firmware.

URL format: stratum+tcp://fenixpool.com:PORT

AsicBoost: Enabled (version-rolling)

Compatible: All hardware and firmware

V1 MODE REQUIREDStratum V2

FenixPool does not run a native V2 endpoint. If your firmware defaults to V2 (like Braiins OS+), you must switch it to V1 mode to connect.

URL format: stratum+tcp://fenixpool.com:PORT

Important: Do NOT use stratum2+tcp://

AsicBoost: Still works in V1 mode

Braiins OS+ Setup(and other V2-default firmware)

Web Interface

Open your miner's web dashboard
Go to Configuration → Pool Settings
Set Pool URL to stratum+tcp://fenixpool.com:PORT
Set Protocol to V1 (if the option exists)
Disable V2 auto-negotiation if shown

Note: AsicBoost (version-rolling) works fully in V1 mode — you lose nothing by switching from V2. FenixPool's stratum responds to mining.configure with version-rolling support, so your miner will automatically enable AsicBoost after connecting.
